Hi folks my mates 04 blade was being a bit fucky yesterday and is showing an f1 on the clocks but it only came on half way through the ride (about 60 miles ) he had the plugs changed about a month and a half ago but its been fine untill now , any advice would be greatly appreciated , thanks .
What error code did it flash? If it is still doing it start the bike and when the FI light comes on put the sidestand down and count the flashes of the red light. Long flash = 10, short flash =1, so 3 long and 5 short would be error 35. When you know that the service manual will be able to tell us what the problem is. If it isn't still doing it I believe you can get the error by shorting the green and brown wire on the diag socket and then turning the ignition on. That's off the top of my head so have a quick dig around on here first to confirm it.
