I'm pretty sure 6/7 fit the 4/5 but the 4/5 won't fit the 6/7 due to the 6/7 fairing bing smaller the pipes will catch the plastics

hi all i sent hindle and asked them what the diff was and they sent this email back

Thank you for taking the time to contact Hindle Exhaust Systems.

The two systems are very similar; however, the mounting bracket on the mid-pipe is in a complete different location. This mounting bracket attaches to the stock location - the 2006 model had a different stock location than the 2004 model.

I hope this information helps answer your questions. Please feel free to contact us at any time should you have any other questions about our products. We are here to help.

    Kind regards,
    Alison

so with a little modding it would fit i think

2004.jpg i think they mean the mounting hole on the stock headers as a mounting hole on the on the bottom of exhaust mid section that bolts to the engine or frame some were if you look at a set of stock headers you will see a mounting brk [ a plate ] welded the the back of the mid section with a hole in it for a bolt $T2eC16V,!wsFJQkqJPK6BSb6ZiD87w~~60_35.jpg you cant see it on this photo [ hindle system ] unless they are on about what i call the link pipe

Yea the one on the link pipe I reckon, but where does that join too? I don't recall having one on stock pipe or any aftermarket I have fitted

$(KGrHqN,!nsE9fbJ3)VSBPmC65jYNw~~60_12.jpg on the stock end can the pipe that joins the standard link pipe as a metal tab welded to it with a hole in it that a bolt goes in to attach it to the subframe

Visually there seems to be little or no difference, the welded bracket and location points are virtually identical. Assume the pipes themselves differ to clear the fairing as these are different. Keep us posted daz1 as I maybe interested too.

Thanks buddy. Pipes don't seem to have the bracing bracket between the pipes to locate onto the frame.

another email i had from hindle Hello,

The biggest issue is that the bracket is welded on to the mid-pipe. I would most likely have to be cut off and then re-welded at the correct location.

I hope this helps - please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Kind regards,
    Alison

so its deff doable and quite easy but i still dont know wich bracket they are on about there must be a bracket mount on the mid section some were ive re emailed them to see if they would send me a picture of it
