Hi Guys, Have been watching this forum for some time, and now need to ask some questions so thought I'd better introduce myself. As the title implies, I've bought a brand new 2012 fireblade and I'm in the process of converting it to a Race Bike, with fairly nice parts. Pics below : I spend about half my time in the UK and the other half in Thailand and have purchased a lot of the parts from members on this board, together with some top-quality UK brands such as Goodridge breaded brake lines, R&G crash protection. I've also got a Dash and Quickshifter coming from the guys at HM Racing and so Titanium fasteners from RaceBolt in Bristol. I'm hopefully near the end of the conversion, just need to finish painting the fairings and get the last bits n bobs sorted. The Start Most of the parts The Middle The end is yet to come, but here are some nearly finished pics Tank Vent Bottle and Radiator Overflow bottle holder MotoHolders subframe and Ohlins TTX shock Fuse box, rectifier (?) and Bottle brackets Metaltech rearsets & Austin Racing end can

Welcome mate... Lovely getting a bundle of goodies laid out in front of you, ready to start the transformation init I used to do the England/Thailand split year thing too... Oh how i miss Thailand....
Hi and welcome, lots of good guys here with a wealth of Knowledge. What you using the bike for and are you selling the old rear shock yet?
Cheers for the positive replies ( I think I'll start a new thread with the build progress ) : @ ColinBR - I got the motoholders subframe direct from motoholders here - I think that they dealt with me direct as they don't have a distributor in Thailand - I had to wait a few extra days to get it in Black, rather than the Aluminium finish. They were really quick at email replies and very helpful. @greg19871 - Yes I do have the original parts ( fairly new as the bike has less than 10km's) , although (it's a big although) they are in Thailand and there is no-one coming to the UK from Thailand any time soon (to carry some bits) - post TH to UK is a bit over-priced. @repsol paul - I'm using the bike to do the Thai championships and trackdays - used to ride my Z1000 commuting bike in the 'naked class' here, but it's a bit big and also risky incase of crashes. There are some OK tracks in Thailand and a new circuit has recently opened (Buriram International Race Circuit) that's hosting the WSBK in March. Here's the bits
Hi and welcome to the forum. That pile of parts should keep you busy for a while. Lets have a look when finished.
Hi - I'm north of Bangkok in Pathum Tani. The nearest track is Bonanza, about an hour away. "Is the bike a Thai/Japanese spec bike from Big Wing? " The bike is for the track only (if you get my drift)
