Hello, i have a cbr1000rr -08 with 2010 engine on it, project race bike. Euro Model no abs. interested in removing hiss if possible? If that isnt the case, Is it possible to get rid of all the unnecessary cables to headlights, with the standard harness? Do someone know if it is possible and maybe have a pdf? Can pay if necessary... best regards
FWIW on the 04-07 it used to be a case of just replacing the ECU & key with an American one as they didn't have an immobiliser. I don't know if it's still the same with a 2008/2010 though. As for the loom, short of copying the HRC loom, you can remove the cables to the lights, but you needs to keep some of the wiring to the switch gear for the shut off switch. There is a link to a standard Honda diagram on here. If you can't find it then I'l do a little digging.
