    Hi guys

    New to forum

Just wondering I’m looking at doing a front end swap on my 04 blade?

I’m wondering if a later 08+ forks would fit in my yokes/wheel set up?

Or if not would a 08+ yokes/forks/spindle work on my 04 frame?

Anyone have any experience with this be great? Or any other mods for the 2004 - 2007 blade

    Thanks

    Hi,

I can't answer your question but for the price of a pair of good condition latter model forks you can have your forks revalved by a suspension specialist e.g fork piston kit and new springs to match your weight. The suspension is then adjusted/set to your needs.

k-tech, Ohlins or MCT all do these kind of kits and various companies fit them up. I have an MCT kit & springs and really rate this modification over standard. Speak to these suspension guys and they'll ask you what you use your bike for and will then point you in the right direction. Depending on what you use your bike for you might only need a fork service?? Or springs to suit your weight etc.

MCT were brilliant and won't rip you off.

    Hello mate thanks for reply...

I’m just looking at this mod as a cosmetic change , not so much of a performance gain... just visual gains and to make it look different as I’m bored of the dated 04 look...

    Thanks

I'm not that familiar with the 08+, but am wondering what looks you would gain?
