It doesn't look like the Blade is selling as well as it used to! 2008 was a good year! Search results for 'cbr1000rr' - How Many Left? 10000 ish CBR1000RR in the UK http://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/combined/cbr1000rr
I think the new S1000rr and RSV4 have damaged the blade sales a bit I reckon. I don't think the R1 has enough differentiators but the extra power of those two has probably tempted a few
What is the RR-D model of which 71 have been registered in 2013 ? Is that the new Blade which Honda UK have 71 for the press / dealer fleet?
No the RRD is the 2013 model. RRC = 2012, RRB = 2011, RRA = 2010 Presume they didn't bring many 2013 models in due to the unsold 2012s
I know Blade Honda have sold out of 2013 bikes and I was in Abingdon Blade Honda today and they said that they still had no idea of what the 2014 bike would be but expected it to just be a paint scheme update.
This website is only lifting data from the DVLA, and some of the base data is mis leading in terms of vehicle description, hence confusion with the RR designation. Also my departed stolen RR6 is still SORNed and that shows how inaccurate this can be. The new reg tab is probably a more accurate view, although still blighted by incorrect data. Its a guide, but is not 100% accurate, although it would appear that this years better summer, encouraged more bikes back onto the road from SORN status. Q3 data will be more telling I guess as that was when summer really got going.
The 2013 zx10 was probs best selling litre bike this year I know the dealer close to me couldnt get his hands on enough of them
what I heard the cant get any, last chat I had there was only one HRC 2013 kicking about...probably sales shit
When i went to order mine the dealer said sorry no victory red models left, when i told him few days later another dealer ( bit further away ) had 1 n at same price on 0% surprise surprise there was a new one still in the crate delivered few days later!! Im sure alot if them just day cant ger hold of one to keep the prices stable, but i know wot i wanted n in wot colour, so any dealer local to me wud have done. I dont like being lied to or pissed about by dealers, had it with cmc cannock for past5 yrs and i spent hell alot of money there, from now on ill shop around for servicing n parts n even pay a guy who works for himself to do the servicing as long as he uses genuine honda parts.
and how many do you see on the road? not many i think it's something like 90% have been sold purely for the track. (just look at the s/stock grid in BSB) think the blade was the best litre seller last yr,very closely followed by the beemers,so who knows.maybe hondas domination could be coming to an end....
