Hmmm. Better midrange allegedly but no figures. No VVT either. I’ll wait for the next model with VVT and a sensible riding position.
I’ve got the ‘17 which is a far better bike for the road. If I was to change now, the BMW would get my vote.
I'm currently running a '19 sp having started with a March '92 r/w/b 28 years ago and only upgrading in '04 and '08 before finally getting the '19. I still think I prefer the original.
In the U.S. they are apparently still doing the CBR 1000 RR(?) SC77 style new for 2022 in the 2020 SP colour scheme, r/w/b, with or without abs and a crank shaft 199 bhp (up 10 bhp on last year) $16,499 srp according to rideapart.com
