For sale is my brilliant 2006 Fireblade. In my opinion, it's in the best colour scheme - solid black.
It has covered just under 14,000 miles.
It has a full service history (stamps at 512, 4057, 8070, 11690 and 13046 miles) although not all services were carried out at a Main Dealer.
    2 Former Keepers.
    Tax Expires 30/09/11
    MOT Expires 13/05/12

    The bike is pretty-much standard with the exception of the following;
Tsubaki Sigma X-Ring Gold Chain with Renthal Sprockets front and rear (hard anodised) fitted 16th July.
EBC Double H front brake pads fitted 16th July.
HEL Braided front brake lines. I also have the rear line which hasn't been fitted yet (lazy, I know...).
    Double Bubble Black Screen.
    R&G Crash Protectors.
Metzeller Sportec M3 Tyres with plenty of life left.

The bike is overall in good condition for its age although I had an unfortunate cleaning accident and managed to snap part of the upper fairing off(!) just above the mirror, it's where the support bracket finishes so it's a weak-spot in the bodywork and I was a bit heavy-handed. I wanted to use the bike for the May Day Run so, being impatient, I repaired it with Super Glue and Touch-Up Paint. It's not a great job but from a distance you don't really notice it. I have included a photo to show the "repair" as best as I can. There are a few other areas on the bodywork that I have touched-up but, again, don't really notice unless you're really looking for them, it is a five year old bike after all. There are also some marks/stains on the dash surround which to me look like a previous owner may have spilt some brake fluid on it, this can be seen on the photo of the dash. There is no tool kit with the bike. Unfortunately, I completed the purchase and rode off without checking under the pillion (schoolboy error!).

This is a really reluctant sale as I waited a long time to own this great motorbike, it will be sadly missed. I just can't justify keeping such an expensive toy at the moment.

Test Rides only permitted with proof of insurance and the full cash price in my hand as security. Viewings can be arranged anytime, 7 days a week. Call 07894 214396 or email [email protected] to arrange a convenient time.

    £4600 ono

I've reduced the asking price to £4250.00 ONO if that sparks any interest...?

OK, so I've just ordered a brand new Upper Fairing (£230) to replace the cracked one which I'm hoping will arrive next week (I'll probably put the old/damaged one on Ebay, I'm sure I'll get a few quid back).
I'll also be fitting the braided rear brake hose this weekend (don't know why I didn't do this when I fitted the front - how lazy!?!)
The bike hasn't turned a wheel since the end of July when I first advertised it for sale and it's getting more painful seeing it every day that passes.
