Chain breaker/ riveting tool

I'm going to replace chain n sprockets on my son in laws bike so looking for recommendations.

 

Genuine D.I.D for me Mark. Tried a copy of it (warrior I think) and it just splayed out as I was riveting.

 

Whale tool mate, heavy duty and last forever

 

depends how often you'll use is.
In my case where I would only change mine once in my lifetime, I would go for one £25 max.
If I had deep pockets, motion pro or RK would be the candidates

So how is the temu regrec holding up?

 

I expect to do one chain in the next 12 months ( for the first time!)
Would be interested to learn how you get on + do’s and don’t’s

Done , the hardest bit was getting the front sprocket nut off , it's 145Nm torque , I didn't have a impact wrench .
Buying good kit pays off

 

sounds promissing, there is hope for me then! Did you grind the head off the pins on the old chain before using the tool?
145nM, this is huge what bike was it?

 

I just cut through the link with a 4inch cutting disc in my Makita, the RK was so easy to use with excellent instructions, the bike is a Royal Enfield 650 Interceptor, very tight sprocket nut
