That looks good there bud, like you say a tad too long though. Can't wait to see it shortened, just a thought Colin this shouldn't interfear with the rear hugger mount will it? I believe they use the same bolt point.

Lmao. It's only a prototype just now. I'll add the finishing touches once I get the dimensions just right. Wanted to make sure it fitted ok n make any changes on this one before making the rest.

I don't think so mate. I've got a rear hugger on my bike aswell. I think the bolt hole u r talking about is further up the swingarm.

It'll not take me long to get them done now Dan. Just some modifications to the design and some more clearance for the welds at the rear of the swingarm. Then it'll just be finishing touches & etching to get done.

I am excited, mate, yes. But I'm thinking about adding up the number of times I've seen you post 'I want one of them on my bike' since I joined. LOL. If I had kids I'd want one like You at Christmas.

Can't beat tarting up the bikes though. Especially as it's coming up to putting them away. It's only tinkering with them that keeps me sane during the winter.

Thanks jimbo. They should look really good once ive finished with them. I'll try some etching on this 1 to c how it turns out. If it looks too tacky I'll just leave it out.

Hi Colin, when you fit a Honda full hugger, to replace the little one that comes on the blade, the rear of it bolts to the same point where you are mounting the chainguard. I'm at work now so can't post a pick but am sure there's a pic of one on here if you look under the section (show us your 2008-11 blades) I'm not sure how it'll fit as the aftermarket hugger bolts over the top of the original plastic chainguard. I hope it will fit somehow as your part is ace!!
