Chain lube???

    What chain lube / protection is best?

    Wurth Dry Chain Lube is good imho. Made in UK.

    Castrol racing from Halfords. It sprays on and dries like a wax. Virtually no fling off at all. and all for £9 a can ;)

    Chain wax/ dry lube are good in my opinion as you get less splatter and fling compared to wet lube

    Wurth and muc off do some great products! WD40 has just brought out some chain lube products in both wax and wet type

    Putoline also very good and on par with Wurth Tweeks do it .

    weird that it load cheaper to buy outside the uk...... what i bring form lithuinia , vodka, 999 and chain lube........ and i'm not joking

    MrB is that pic from your personal collection or is that a shelf from the parts dept?

    It is good stuff mind you, but thats quite a bulk buy for personal use.:)

    I just apply some Scottoil to the chain directly. Doesn't attract so much grit and dirt as other lubes, so doesn't require as much cleaning as a result!

    The only downside is that it needs applying more often when riding in the wet, but it takes relatively little time to do.
