Bit of a change to my 'blade: had it done while I was away offshore last week, so something nice to come back to. It was in standard HRC colours. It's now in matte black: Let me know what you guys think. It's kind of a work in progress to be honest: I've always liked the Black/Gold combo on bikes, and I've got a few mods in mind to kind of pursue that theme and see where it leads me.
Austin Racing V2 can, mate. Like the look, but not too sure on the sound. It's pretty loud, and sometimes sounds a bit rough.
I think it looks really good mate, although being a black blade owner I do like the black look lol The matte finish looks suits the bike IMO and it is also nice to have something a bit different from other people.
Samuk, it's a fiaring kit from motocc, so I've still got all my original panels boxed up. To be honest, i'm not too impressed with the motocc kit. I put it in to my local bike shop for fitting while I was offshore, and they said it was an absolute nightmare getting the panels on. The tail and tank fit is good, but where the side panels meet with the belly-pan at the bottom, it's a fair bit out. It looks ok, but when you're up close, you can see that the fit isn't great. That said, I like the look, and the panels are certainly secure. I'm just a bit disappointed, cos I'm a bit of a perfectionist. However, they're on, and it means they can get scraped, dinged and stone-chipped all year round, and my original panels are boxed up nice and safe for when I come to sell it.
Crackin that mate, looks real good. Thought about matt black myself, just never got time to do it. I don't think it needs much else so I personally wouldn't over do it with the gold. Nice one!
Absolutely the best colour combo out there! Mine is black + gold on silver frame but I'd prefer the black frame. BTW - what screen do you have on the bike?
The screen is one that came free with the motocc kit. I did have the Honda high screen on with the standard panels, but the motocc one is almost solid black, which I think looks good with the rest of the fairings. It's got kind of a double bubble, so should still be ok for motorway miles.
