Its Yorkshiregooners bike I think he sells a lot of blade parts etc, you can buy bikes direct as race bikes with no V5 my mate bought two gsxr600 discounted that way
But why would it have no V5? i don't understand, if you look at one of the photo's it has a number plate...
I like this one although the price will go way up imo... Excellent track bike SUZUKI GSXR 1000 K7 | eBay
This is what puts me off, the last thing i would want to do is buy one only for old bill to take it away....
My ZX10R has no V5 either Matt. It has never been a Road Bike and was built from new and used spares around a brand new frame (of which I have the receipt) by Jim Stock of Sling Shot Racing for a customer to race just before his unfortunate death from a Brain Hemorrhage! Said customer then had his first Child and his Mrs put an abrupt halt to all 'thing dangerous' so I ended up with a well sorted Kwak!
Yours is different as you say its never been a road bike, that blade clearly has so i'd want to know why it no longer has a V5...
This is one of Mark's - there will be a really genuine reason for the lack of V5 - but for the money its a cracking deal as long as you understand you are buying a track bike and not a road bike.
It was a Cat B, all numbers correct and untouched, got the reg number 13 plate BUT i have put a certificate of destruction on the bike. So you can not apply for the V5. Now sold gone to Ireland. Nothing of mine will interest the old bill pal.
Did you honestly think Yorkshiregooner would put an iffy bike up for sale on a public forum? The guy has a great reputation to think of.He is the largest/Best Fireblade breaker in the UK.Why would he want to jeopardize his business, livelihood and integrity for an iffy trackbike?Beats me!! The idiots that do this (selling iffy gear) 9/10 don't have businesses nor great reputations to think of.It's a no brainer dealing with iffy gear when you have a business you've steadily built up over the years, you're going against the grain inbred in you to keep your nose clean. What goes around comes around to those that want to deal in iffy gear..
Why would you want a v5 with a track/race bike? Just adds hassle! Anyone can do a check off a VIN to be sure
Sorry mate but i have absolutely no clue where you see me saying that Yorkshiregooner was putting up "iffy bikes" ?????????
No probs lets not fall out over nothing, maybe my fault for not adding more info. The bike was 100% and had a genuine 400 mile on the clock.
