Got a chance to pick it up today, so i did, straight to the MOT testers, passed with no problems, started cleaning it up but the rain started, so had to give up. http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x157/Billybalthorpe1/PC160054.jpg http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x157/Billybalthorpe1/PC160055.jpg http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x157/Billybalthorpe1/PC160056.jpg http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x157/Billybalthorpe1/PC160057.jpg http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x157/Billybalthorpe1/PC160060.jpg Had a quick blast and it goes really well, needs a billet camchain adjuster, and if it doesnt improve, a new clutch. A right bargain.
I miss my old steelie 600f. If you ever fancy selling it give us a shout. Clutches are really easy to do on them, I had to do mine. They dont like snatchy gear changes, The plates move and dig into the basket. If you do the clutch pay extra attention to the way the plates go in, They all look the same but there not. put them in wrong and you have no clutch, I found that the hard way. Dont like doing jobs twice.
Yeah, i'm really pleased with it. Gave one side of the rear wheel a polish and it came up really well. T cut takes care of the small scratches and when its washed an polished it should look really nice. Think im going have to re paint the wheel centres red though. Theres also a bit of rust on the gear and brake pedals, a rotary wire brush and then some silver or gold paint should do the trick.
Camchain adjuster ordered, £50 odd quid!! For a bit of anodised alloy and a steel screw, i'm in the wrong business here.
