Anyone on here from around that area? Starting a new contract in August and was looking at the Cheshunt Travelodge and then walking to the station at Theobalds Grove to get the train into Liverpool Street in the mornings. I don't always trust Google maps as it will at times try and get you to walk where there is no pavement etc.

If this isn't doable I'll probably end up in Enfield which looks more likely to be walkable to Southbury/Bush Hill park.

Plan is to be able to get onto the A1 as soon as possible on a Friday.

Being born and bred Enfield & Bush Hill Park....deffo go for that area if it were me....Enfield / L'pool line is pretty good service and around 25 mins if you get the fast train that misses out on London Fields, Rectory Rd etc.
BHP station was my commuter base for the best part of 20 years.
Getting to A1 is fairly easy 5 mins if that from BHP station straight up the A10 to M25 and A1 after that....going anti clockwise traffic is a lot less
