Chinese fairing came today

    Told the guys i wanted a race replica of Chris Vermeulen's 2005 WSK runner up fireblade, as I've liked the style and my bike is also 2005, so it matches ;)
    got the fairing through the post today, they don't seem to have made a bad job for the price, will fit at weekend and see ;)

    Monster fairings, and didn't pay any import duty? well unless they send me a bill later?

    I got my duty letter a week later from tnt when i bought discs

    very nice indeed!! I had a duty letter this morning from TNT, £16 set of throttle cables and they want £18!! bloody joking

    They look nice but they're a bit more expensive than other Chinese fairings.

    Hope you have a dremel handy - and good supply of washers , screws etc.

    Take your time - it will prob. take a lot longer than you expect to get everything to fit correctly - well worth the time to make it all fit right.

    I would def. put some venture shield on them - my ones chipped quite easily

    That looks awesome! It's enough to make me reconsider getting my fairings fixed and buy a replica set instead.
    I'll be following the build thread with interest and look forward to seeing it in the flesh :)

    Just go easy when fitting the tail section and consider buying a roll of Venture Shield.

    Considering Muffking's comments and pre protecting the fairings with Venture Shield seems to be the way to go. Can anyone suggest the best place to buy it. I've seen precut kits for about £100 but sheets of it much cheaper, any advice ??
