I never thought the day would come so soon, but I had a test ride today on something that's made me think of trading in my baby.

My mother in law has decided her broomstick days are over and has traded in for this little beauty. Off road tyres, instant torque, zero cost road fund licence, wheely bars and you can mow down pedestrians with it.

I managed to lift the outside wheels on a tight turn but as it wont work with the armrests up I couldn't shift my body to get my knee down.

Dare I say it suits you !!!!

I bet the difference in speed and handling takes some getting used to Ken, take time to get used to it and watch those cameras !

Thanks guys. I knew you'd all get where I'm coming from with this one. Some serious mods are in order. I might take the wheely bars off so I can get the front off the ground and I was thinking of a thumb brake so I can trail the back end a bit better.

My mate got his first big bike today and wants to meet up tomorrow for a run out. How much would I love to pitch up at his place on that in full leathers.

I see you have the 55 profile rear tyres so handling shouldnt be a problem but your only sporting 1 mirror so be careful at high speeds as your aerodynamics will be all to cock.

You're right mate. It is a worry, but the other mirror was an optional extra so I balked at the £15. I figure anything behind me on that side won't be there for long anyway.

Sam, yes it does. One phone call and the vendors come and collect you and it with a new Poundland AAA multi pack.

Ash, I was thinking one of those horrid, ratty little dogs but a handbag would go too.

i just got red wine down my nose and my t shirt, looking good, you just got to get the hang of hanging off the seat to get your knee down.

I can't, I tried, but the armrest gets in the way and the safety interlock cuts in if you lift them up.

I thought you and Ash were going to bed? Not together clearly. Ash has got more taste and Ken has no chance of getting that lucky.
