For Christmas this year (present from my wife) I am toying with the idea of putting a Showa shock ( like the one on the 2012 blade) on. I have a 2009 blade. My questions are; 1) How much are they new, from Honda? 2) Do I need to replace my colour coded rear hugger( genuine Honda one) or can one just do some cutting/filing etc. ? 3) Will the bike feel more responsive etc.? Great upgrade for your model, I had one fitted before I got my ohlins and is chalk and cheese in handling terms between the two, don't waste stupid money on a new one otherwise you might as well get ohlins or k-tech for not much more Worth getting your suspension set up for a little extra to get the best from it
