    Got a Dremel for a Christmas present so thought I'd put it to use. I'm a bit of a clean freak and the Yoshimura r77 wasn't up to my standards when I bought the bike so thought as I'm stripping a few bits off the bike to clean it up I thought I'd get the Dremel out and set about it.

    I'm happy with how it turned out. Looks a lot better I think. Thought I'd share a picture with you all.

    Before and after;

    Now for the rest of the bike.

    good work, mine's covered in acf50 right now as is grubby as feck.

    Not gonna touch it till the spring! Notice yours has the baffle bolt on the outside, mine is between the swing arm and sleeve, bit of a ball-ache when I need to fit the baffle:mad:

    It'll stay clean. I clean my bikes more than I ride them!

    I cleaned it first with some warm water and Brillo pads. After that I used a Dremal with polishing attachments and Autosol metal polish. Takes a bit of time but the rewards are good.

    Lovely work but as mentioned it will not stay silver. It is stainless therefore will go brown very quickly ... Have a look at the downpipes on your bike for example.

    I'll just keep taking it off and buffing it up again !!

    Cbrjay- that's basically the same attachment I used but smaller for the Dremal.
