    ...with the 'mac!!

What a lovely day today in the Northwest, sun was out, blue sky and warmish. Got the usual chores out the way then at 3pm thought, yeh why not.

Off with the covers, chains, shackles and out I went for a quick blast.

Homeward bound and on the approach to Runcorn Bridge there's right hander leading to a left hander that's under trees.

Through the right and onto the left doing around 40 - 50mph and cranked over, off goes the front into a full on slide, shit!!, I sat the bike up then shit!! quickly heading for a grassy bank through gravel in a chevroned section of the road. CABS applied with no dramas, so that worked ok.

Arse twitching and trembling, it was time to go home after a severe lesson riding on shitty, greasy roads. Roll on spring. Here it is back home in one piece...

Great save there Billo .I had a quick run today about 2pm and i nearly went to Millenium for a brew but didn't .Roads in general where very good about 12 deg and it felt like an early spring day (Sorry Southwest bikers ) no rub intended. So i got the sucker nice and hot and the added bonus is that its rained that much there was no salt .So to all of you who have put your machine away like a tortoise bedding down for the winter get it out you never know it may be a mild winter after all.LOL.
