Very easy just make sure you route the new one exactly the same as the old one

Does the tank need to come off .I've broke the plastic sleeve which is on the end of the clutch cable whilst fitting new levers .I've tried to get a replacement but the dealer says it comes with a new cable typical

From memory I don't think the tank needs to come off but the tank cover needs to, if you remove the cover its easy to see which way it's routed

Did mine last year, easy but can be fiddly.

Much easier if you take the right fairing off.

The cable is snuck in between the engine and rad then between the engine a frame, before you pull out the old one tie a long piece of strong twine to the cable then attach to the new one, this will ensure you use the same routing.

Also helps to take a few photos especially round the routing from the dash down to the rad and into the frame just for reference!!!
