Hi guys Mostly lurking here on the site, but have a question I haven't found an answer to. I had an off last weekend in Sweden, twice actually, and shaved my R&G clutch covers through. Asked about this on the DK forums, and my parts supplier got piss mad for asking questions about products he sells, and like that, no more discount and no more frequent buyer percentages..... So, if seeking alternative crash protection for my 2009 blade, and not the R&G PP Clutch covers, what would be good protection? GB Covers? Carbon Kevlar covers? Others? I also have fitted the R&G bungs, but they didn't save the bike last time unfortunately. Any advice or experience to share? Cheers Bike before it went off: Link
I have the GB covers after much searching for information and reviews and would highly recommend them, Not had to use them but will be buying them again in the future And welcome to the forum
Remal, Thanks a lot. And Thanks The bike is superbike specs and would really hate to reck the engine, hence my question. The R&G covers were worn through first time, new cover fitted, and worn through again. My money isn't growing that fast when all fairings and clipons went at the same crash. But I'll give the GB an extra look and get them before the few last track days I think! Cheers
