clutch problems!!! help!!!

    hi all im a newb please be nice!! lol

    rite i have a 2008 blade and have had clutch trouble from day one,had the recall dun with bout 5k on the clock. all ok till i hit 12k and then the biteing point kept going away.talked to my local honda and the said worn plates!! at 12k?? changed them and the springs and now the clutch just slips and drags!! any ideas?? cheers

    Hi mate, I'll have a go... Slipping and dragging clutch after new plates could be distorted steels, did they replace all of the plates (steels and frictions)? The clutch is a fairly simple thing the dealer should be able to sort it as good as new.. :)

    yeh all steels and friction. i have spoke to 2 dealers and the both scratched there heads!! lol

    Is it fully engaging? Have they checked the basket, the inner hub, the release mechanism? Clutches ain't that complicated, even a stealer can sort em?

    Is the clutch cable to tight?

    What about cable routing and is the cable free moving.. ?
