hi I bought my 09 blade in April and the clutch has always been hard to pull. To the point after a 100mile ride I struggle it pull it in at all. I have lubed the cable and no visable frays. I have just taken the lever off and checked the fixing pin is not over tight and the small sleeve in the lever is lubed and moves. So I'm out of ideas has anyone had this problem and can shed some light for me thx
Had the same on my 2009 too, put a new genuine cable on it and all good. Put a few drops of Teflon lube down it for good measure too.
Think mine felt ok when I took it off and in my hand, but I think when it's routed and used under load it binds up. New one was def night and day !
Same when I took mine off at both ends and lubed, it move easily enough. I will replace the cable soon hopefully that will solve the problem
