Colin Edwards to retire

    Retiring end of 2014, to spend more time with his family, he was one of the good guys of the paddock, always remember the Bayliss v Edwards race at imola , he will be missed

    A real nice bloke, always good for a quote on the grid, and runs probably the only race school with .50 cal rifles :)

    Agree on the nice bloke comment and was great in WSB but I think the last few years making up the back markers in Moto GP has been good for his pocket but surely a waste of Superbike talent .

    One of the nicest riders I have ever met.will be mist the Texas tornado ,here is a picture of me with him back in 2000 when he was doing world super bike,,both looking young then image.jpg

    I really did hope he'd do a few years in WSBK again before he retired.

    Whilst I am a big fan of CE his move to CRT was a serious backward step, even though he tried to bull it up considerably. Kevin Schwartz said the other day. He should be off fishing now.
