    Evening all

18mths out and finally I'm coming back and looking for a Blade, after a year of house renovations, but as I always rode new works bikes, any advice on what to look for on a 08/10 age bike?

Looking to pay about £5k to £6k so if your in the North (Yorkshire ish) and thinking of changing let me know, it would need to be pretty standard as I don't have any no claims bonus and don't want to mess about

I am off to look at this tomorrow... 09 with 12,500mls for £6600, any thoughts

    Thanks

    Welcome to Blade land

That sounds a little expensive, a mate is looking at similar age bikes and thinks £5,000 gets you a 2008 bike with low miles.
I am pretty sure the 2009 bikes are the same, in 2010 they got a new crank.
Avoid the burgundy colour and also yellow.
Pearl white sells well as its the only premium / pearl finish (others are solid colours)

The HRC colour scheme on that one is good, but still think its about £500 too high

It's a little high dude. I paid £6550 for my 09 HRC a year ago with 3500 miles on the clock and it came with a HRC rear hugger, seat cowl, tail tidy and fancy indoor HRC cover.

You can get a newer bike with less miles for that money

+1 on the above, bought my 59hrc for slightly more with less miles with the big 16k service thrown in with, discounted warranty and that was over 2 years ago from a main dealer!!!

10k mile 09 for me, £5450 although it needed the wheels powder coating which cost me £100
This was the cheapest I found in the dealers tho most were a £500 more.

Always hard to tell from Photo's and Descriptions but that one looks like a well cared for bike.
