    Trying to get my head around this one, somehow if the reports and comments are correct, a rider has managed to vault his bike over the central reservation, across 3 lanes of motorway and the bike ended up on the opposite hard shoulder, apparently not hitting anything other than a car was involved somewhere in this episode, and finally a search party of plod and other motorists found the rider on an embankment, not clear if it was the same way he was travelling, or even more impressive, the opposite embankment, without serious injuries.

    They must be kidding!

    If he cleared the carriageway, then why the tailbacks, for 3 hours!

    Reading the news report and the comments, it seems like he must have been riding on the hard shoulder when he came off and the bike decided it was too embarrassed to be seen with him and went for and adventure by itself, must have clouted a car to get it airborne.
