    Gents,
Wee problem, recent holed rad sprayed coolant over the RH front brake and tyre, brake is fine and have washed and scrubbed the tyre. Pretty sure ok in the dry but in the wet? Unless someone can suggest a cleaner looks like I'll need to replace the 1k front.....ideas welcome...
    Cheers Mike

Plenty of soapy water, it will be fine. Think of what it runs through on the road all the time, if a bit of antifreeze was going to kill it your tyre would not last two mins.

The thing you need to worry about rubber on tyres is if it has been imersed in an oil or an acid.Coolant is ok cos it does not harm rubber only after long years of it going past its effectiveness then it becomes acidic and corrosive. As others have said soapy water would be fine.

Thanks guys. I'll give it another clean as a precaution and take it steady until I'm ok with it.

Clean it and forget about it or it will be in the back of your mind for ages and ruin your ride!
