In prep for RAF valley track weekend (mostly left handers) I have just spent the evening switching round the linkage, didn't know how to do it so just had a bash and hope I've done it right......please advise me if I've missed something RR8 Removed front sproc cover and gave a good clean, blocked off holes with appropriare allen screws. Zip tyed side stand switch cables safely to side Flipped linkage at gearbox end 180 deg (link rod is now leaning forward) Zip tyed quickshifter cable up out of way and reset to extension mode. Feels fine sat on bike just need a test run .......and a bit of practise at steady speeds.......have put a sign on dash big arrow pointing down / 'upshift' Sorry no pics cant find battery charger.
Go and ride on the road first to get to grips with it as I found at silverstone that I just couldn't get to grips with riding fast, learning the track and recalibrating my brain. Totally wasted the first session
