Hi. I'd be interested to know if anyone has had an issue like this. The bike is less than two years old and has paint peal / corrosion on wing mirror stalks / mounts, seems odd for a bike of this age. It has been kept dry in a shed and only ridden in summer.
Yes mate, same issue, Within 9 months they were peeling, the arms are cast and the only explanation was that the paint finish was applied incorrectly. Bearing in mind they are the same from 08, must have been a faulty batch at that time. Changed both under warranty, no quibbles. Replacements are fine.
Mine and a mates 2014 RREs are fine - as above take it to the Dealers and get it done under warranty.
Hi, mine is a 2013 I bought it at 2 years old and it had corrosion on one side. I sanded down and repainted.
Got my 64 end of 2014.....everything still spotless....got 2 bikes so only put 4500 miles on it though...i'd be pullin me hair out at them mirrors

My 2014 has corrosion on the lower part of the mirror arms after been parked in the shed for the last few months only 5k miles on it , they were perfect last year but my shed is a lean 2 off a garden wall and tools etc do corrode in there , racing over the mirrors tho, may get them sprayed ,I wonder could they be taken apart and powder coated
