Well it's official in 2011 an unmodified (stock) Fireblade reached 200.137 mph at Bonneville! A first for a production Litre bike! And piloted by very very hot Leslie Porterfield, obviously in perfect conditions and with a disabled 186 mph limiter but she has graced us with some serious pub braggin rights or what! Go Leslie what a ride!!!... literaly:D leslie_porterfield_01.jpg record-2.jpg queen-of-speed-leslie2.jpg Leslie_Porterfield_07.jpg

Shame its not actually a first for a litre bike.

Performance bikes got 201mph out of a stock BMW S1000RR at bruntingthorpe last year, and thats a much smaller run than Bonneville....

they did use tape on the fairing to help out with slip streaming better. Looks like the blade has nothing added to help out

Your right in a way, i suppose its nit picking though, also makes you think what the nutty engined bmw could do at bonneville in same trim.

That Blade was modded more than the press would have you believe. I hear it had some Bazazz kit fitted.
