Hi Need to vent frustration so here goes I have just moved house After a few days I finally got round to changing my address on the bank and credit cards Unfortunately after a week of being here the log burner got deemed unsafe to use (i planned to replace it but just not yet) so to please the wife I payed for the new log burner on the credit card to use some cash back points All went through fine not a problem Now for the rant After it showed up on the statement i decided to pay it all off in one go (as i usually do) Got to the last screen for payment and after clicking the pay button I was told that i cannot pay anything off my card for 31 days as I have changed my address (something to do with fraud) So I can pay for stuff on the card but not allowed to pay it off Surely they should have stopped me using it in the first place!! I so want to pay it back I have the cash ready to go They should of stopped me spending in the first place if they were truly worried about my change of address If I could be arsed I would phone them up but I have better things to do now
