.. Bolloxs Thoughts. The last 3 holidays I have had, And every single time I've booked some part of it through a travel agent in person. And Every time I go to book something or esquire about a holiday I'm told they are booking up quick, we don't have many of the travel books you need.... You need to book early etc.. Now the wife went into a travel agents this week asking for books on Canada. Guess what... they don't have many books left as this is a very popular holiday to book at the moment. Almost word for work what I got told when booking a holiday to Ibiza, and 2 to Florida in the past 3 years So is it just the travel agent wanting to get a quick sell ( That I think) or is every having a great time booking expensive holidays? thoughts
I booked portugal in November to go this july, and was told i needed to book ASAP as the Villas we stayed in last year where going quick. The same with flights. I had a look yesterday, and since we booked the villas, there's only one more that has been booked, and there are lots of flights left, plus i could have saved £1k forthe 4 of us.. The agents tell you they are going soon, not many left etc.. to get you to book there and then. I'll leave it till last minute next year.
I agree with Si. Just a line to get you to hustle... They tried that when I looked at the Blade!! Someone's coming to see it mate, and he sounds like he's gonna take it too... You better put a non-refundable deposit down on it to reserve it... Yeah whatever, I waited a week, made up my mind, and it was still there, so it was "fate"!!
The only 'crunch' in the credit is the fat stupid twots running the banks. I've quoted on 3 big extensions and a full big house modernisation, none of them are mortgaged and the cheapest is worth @ £150k. Banks wont lend the money. Tossers.
not sure but on 2 of my recent holidays their seems to be loadsa russians. so maybe there taking the rooms, but weve been looking at trying to gat a villa in parque santiago 3 loc christianos and a lot of em are booked up !!
2 - 3 weeks is the earliest i book anything as never know where ill be of what I'm doing in 6 months time :-}}
Sod travel agents, I book it all individually and way in advance (like 11 months). I use the owners direct site for an apartment or villa, then book the flights & car hire. Booking in advance this year saved me £100 per week on the apartment, 30% on flights (scheduled, none of that package bullshit), and 40% on car hire.
