Considering this as my first ever proper trackday as its close to home, other than 7 laps round the nurburgring last summer packed with sports cars the only experience I have is on the road. What's croft like as a track for a beginner? Looking at doing it with no limits... Also will a yoshi r77 without baffle be too loud?? Cheers
101 with baffle in@5500 rpm ( this is what mine was ) 103 without(this is what the noise testers told me it would be )whats the noise limit there is it 102 like most places
Worst track I ever rode! Featureless, flat and very bumpy! I'd make it over to Oulton or down to Cadwell if I was you mate.
Croft is 1 of the better tracks in the UK for a fast flowing circuit. yea it's not super smooth like donny, and doesn't have the rises of oulton, but when you get a good lap gives you just as much satisfaction. as for doing a t/day there.it's £190 and sold out in 6 hrs.all groups!!! (i'm 1 of the lucky few )
Do they tend to sell out quickly? I think if thats the case i need to look at something a few months away and look at local accomodation for night before. Is there normally a few forum members around to share a pot of tea with and seek some advice from?
croft does as theres only 1 t/day there due to track restrictions(it's a long story),other track dates dont sell out as quick, and as for forum members it depends,if it's oulton theres a good chance i'm there in the week, not weekends.best bet is to post up where+when and see who else goes.
