Ok talking to James at JHS racing who does my servicing and bits for me. I got talking about track noise limits. He can make me for a small sum, a standard big can, fabricate the link pipe etc... and get it running with my Bazzaz Ecu and will take it to castle combe (hardiest track to get the blade on due to how they do their noise limits) so I heard. Get it noise tested and have it running at 103db at Combe which would relate to about 98db at most other tracks. Combe tests 3/4 revs at 1/2 meter IE: it's very strict and hard to get on track I'm not fussed with the looks as long as it means I can get on track with no issues And yes the only wasy I would look at this was if it does reduce the noise limit and not all talk. Which I would not expecct from James at JHS racing as he know's his stuff Thoughts? from a google would look more like this give or take
Going to be a few hundred. But as said it's a take the bike there and get them to make it up and then check it. As they sell these to get on track and that's. So if it don't work customers will be pissed
I had the under seat with my speed triple. First thing I changed. Low centre of gravity for a real sports bike
Why don't you get one of the following slip on. You can reduce the noise lever by taking out or in some discs by yourself. SuperTrapp: Performance Exhaust SuperTrapp: Performance Exhaust
I've looked at the Supertrapp for my kit car and the feedback from owners ment much higher back pressure and not good for the engine.
or just put a longer can on,Arata do a short and long version of thier blade systems and lads i know with the long have never had a problem, even at oulton without a baffle.
yep Arata are awesome but you dont see them as much as akky, arrow etc. FWDevelopments are 1 of the main suppliers.(uk dynojet importer)
Cheers Scooby, I'm asking a mate who had one on his blade. unsure if the long or short. Any other idea's from members using their blades on track for keeping the noise down?
