D Day 11th March not may FFS

    Well I have the Blades MOT (And Service) on the 11th March , Next Tues. First ride since Sept/Oct. First ride since having cataracts removed from both eyes

    Sounds daft but a little nervous.

    But for me the summer starts then, even if it's cold and wet on the day I will still enjoy it

    Also this will be the first time I've had a bike MOT'ed for 6 years. having sold the Speed triple just Before the 3rd year and getting the blade.

    Not daft at all to feel a bit nervous after what you have been through, I would get worried about people who would not feel that way. Even when I haven't ridden the bike for two weeks I take it easy for the first 10 miles just to re-adjust.

    My bike is 8 years old this year and she sails through her MOT's so hopefully yours will be more than fine.

    Good luck anyway, but I am sure all will be fine, might make riding easier now you can see lol.

    Oh yes being able to see will be great

    I went to see the optician on Sat and they said my distance is almost 20/20. So legal to drive without glasses. Which I knew. But as I have a stigmatism in both eyes so with distance corrective glasses I will be able to see much better than 20/20. which is rather good. But would only be wearing them if and when

    and I know the blade will do well. it's a Honda :)

    I'm lost..............is your mot due this week or in two months? :D

    Can't see any bike failing its first mot unless its for stupid stuff like non legal mods or a blown bulb! ;)

    Sorry chaps.

    Bikes at JHS racing. Always a few nice bikes there including a blade stripped down ready for the full works. front and rear suspension upgrade, engine work. Only seen it to ask about it so no idea's who.

    But even at 6 degrees it was great to be back on the bike :)

    Passed MOT and service was perfect, only advisory was a noisy exhaust. I did have the baffle in but forgot to remove the not god road use sticker . Twat
