I have a pair of Dainese black leather trousers, size 50 in standard length. They are lined and have removable composite protectors on the knee and shin, soft padding on the hips and a zipper to connect to a jacket. I am a 34 waist and they fit me fine but have adjusters so you could go up or down an inch or so and they should be ok. They are in immaculate and as new condition as they have only been worn about three or four times and only then with an under suit so no need to worry about my skin having touched them. I decided to buy a one piece suit instead and they have been hanging in the wardrobe in a plastic cover ever since. They even smell new!

I brought them last year from my local Honda dealer for £260 but you can get them on line for £246. If you’re interested you can have them for £150 plus signed for postage which has got to be an absolute bargain.

These photos are from the Dainese web site but are exactly the same. If you are interested I can take a few photos of the actual trousers and measure the inside leg when I get home.

Nice arse David. £150 plus signed. If I didn't already have a pair I'd be tempted just for the inscription.

PMSL, when I was checking the prices on line last night, L said, It’s a shame your arse doesn’t look that good in them or I would be asking you to keep them just to wander round the house in.

Actually, what boots did you wear with them. My current boots are quite uncomfortably tight with the trousers tucked into them and the trousers don't do up all the way with them on the outside. The shin armour is fixed to the knee armour so you can't take it out.

I could do with an excuse to justify new boots.

They are Dainese boots, I can’t remember the model but they fit ok over the top and if under there are two zippers on the legs. One just gives more room with leather behind it and the other is a stretch panel, one of which I didn’t do up. I don’t think the shin armour is fixed to the knee armour on mine but I will have a look and see. If you want I will also see if there is a model number on the boots, they are more of a touring type boot than pure race and therefore much more comfy to wear.

Yeah it's the touring style boot I like David. Interesting that the armour in yours isn't connected. I'd swear they are the same trousers and mine is fixed to the knee cups.

Hi Gums, 29" or 740mm in new money straight down the seam from the crotch to the bottom. Any good?
Do want me weight them and check how much it would cost to send by signed for postage. Or, hang on a minute isn’t Orsett somewhere in East London. I could bring them into Central London for you to collect if preferred.

Hi Ken, I have checked and you are correct, although it feels like they are not connected from the outside, if you slip your hand down inside the knee zipper they feel like they are connected.

are you sure you are a 34"?

i measured my 32" levi jeans and they came up to a 36"

nice bottoms though, thinking i could use them for my trip to the south of France this year...

So..can you maybe measure the waist of the bottoms or your waist with a measuring tape.. ;-)

Hi Sam I have measured my waist and it’s almost bang on 34" All my business suits are 34" waist and fit just fine.
I have just looked up the Dainese sizing chart and it’s showing 880mm so that’s 34.5.
Interestingly the size chart also says the crotch to bottom is 820mm but the trousers are 740mm so they must be short not standard. I will measure them again later in case I made a mistake, I don’t think so but will double check.

Sold to the good Mr Gums, Let me know when you are in the City and we can arrange to meet up, if I am not around when it’s convenient you can always pick them up from L at her office. Just give me a shout when you are ready mate.
