After the return of the sun last weekend I got round to worrying about the legalities of riding with a dark visor. I found this article which might be useful if pulled by the police. You might be lucky if the local chief constable is signed up to the initiative. Are tinted/dark visors road legal? It depends.

If you keep your iridium visor long enough and clean it carefully you'll find that the coating wears off leaving you with a good tint, well that's what happened to my Arai blue iridium one.

Play safe and carry a clear one in a visor belt, can't say Jack then?

Non clear visors are OK if your using it when bright, if your unsure take a clear one and put under your leathers at the side of you. I've done that in the past and never noticed it was there and never had a issue in years of using a dark/mirror visor all around the UK and touring.
