which dash do you recommend or prefer the hm dash,or the tranlogic.spoke to ben about getting one for honda and asked if he could do 10% off after buying 3 q/s plus off them .well no was the answer not slagging him off but i reckon is i was a race team it would not have been a problem but self funding so every little does help you would agree.well anyone had any dealing with the translogic its not about price its about practicallity.any recomendation appreciated thanks guys whats the diff between hm dashes built in laptimer and , optional upgrades include an infrared Beacon, Magnetic strip and GPS.one is 799 and the other is 999 at racespares?
I've stumbled across a bloke selling a mark 2 hm dash Greame. He's asking for 550 so ive mailed him. I think he will be open to offers. I'll forward you his contact info when he gets in touch
bloody hell, not even 10%... great guy ;-) times are hard these days and after already spending a good £1200 with em not even £80 off a £800 dash is pretty cheap a$$ IMO..... Have a look at translogic or speak to your local dealer and maybe you could get 10% off them...... otherwise look for a 2nd hand one
I don't think that's the case at all, I run a small business and can't offer discounts most of the time. You say money is no object so what's the problem, your problem is he won't give you 10% so you'd rather cut your nose off despite your face! Also looking at your hard up cash budget race bike spec your kidding me right! Hard up my ass, I know people racing on half or less the spec of that bike, hope you don't mind when your beat by a lad on a stock bike! Come on mate you've posted on here about all the things you've purchased and now your winging about 10% on a dash! all I will say is prove your self, let's recognise your name and then you may be worth the 10% your asking for! See you on the pole
may run burger vans but if someone buys ten burgers i will chuck one in free ,same principle whether its £2.50 or a thousand pound.
We run a small business repeat customers are always looked after thought this was just norm to keep folks happy it keeps them coming back .
Ive just bought a HM dash for my 2010 blade rang round for prices got 10% off at padgetts and dave and jordan . a little dis appointed as not totally plug and play on the blade if you want the gear indicator to work , check up dates on HM,s web site you have to cut one wire . with the translogic you have to hard wire it all
what wasn't plug and play on it? I've just installed a first gen dash on a 2010 blade and all I had to do was run it through the gears once up to about 4000 or 5000 revs, that was all
Latest HM is far better than the Translogic if an inbuilt automatic laptimer is key? Translogics laptimer you have to press a button on every lap! That's shyte, I already have that function on my standard OEM ZX Dash. Repsol Rob, shouldn't U have a bung in that USB port? Next time it rains or you wash it that port will take in water and that will end in tears!
Ok Sherlock... Yes it does have one but it don't fit that well.... I have a cover on it now These dash units are the bees knees..... Well worth an extra 10% !! Lol
hey big fat lad if you have a new blade .i will sell you a akra, and seeing its you,yes you i will give you 10%off.how that for you
No thanks. I'd rather pay full price and get good support from someone who knows the product and not a box shifter! I bet you'd buy somewhere else with your 10% discount then expect the manufacture to offer you full support! Now I'd charge you the 10% for the advice... The problem with people in this country is they expect something for nothing, they want top product for poor product money. Like I say why do people and companies expect discounts for multiple purchase? Why should said company's take a loss. I say the quality of service is often worth the premium. Why not keep HM in business by paying the price, I do. I could understand a discount offered to a rider who will run at the front, or a rider who "needs" money based help, you strike me as somewhat spoilt, I look forward to watching how you run, maybe then I would offer you some sponsorship.
I'm cool man, not hard feelings GW, go racing mate, first thing you will learn is all that tech won't make you much faster, why not start from the bottom and work up...anyways it's nought to do with me, good luck. Oh and pay the cash, you can clearly afford it, unlike some of the lads I know who race on peanuts. But fk they are fast!
thanks to skippy didnt need to cut wire .. just change speedo source to stock not GPS then run thru gear ratio set up as per instructions
