I took the 12plate R6 out today and fell in love with it! I now you have to work it but that is what i enjoyed so much about it. Now the cornering speed and confidence was amazing! My mate on it GSXR750K7 couldnt keep with me! Anyway after test ride i went back to dealer for a chat. The deal on the table at that point was a straight swap for the 12plate R6 in Black with 1850miles on the clock with Akra can, ASV levers and rear seat cowl. Or brand new R6 in white or Blue and white with £300 and my bike! Ended up with a brand new blue and white R6 with Rear seat cowl, Tank pad, tail tidy and Akra end can thrown in, and just my bike traded in with not cash exchanging hands. Quite happy with that.
sounds a very good deal I no what you mean about having fun working a bike i love it and miss it last bike triumph street triple R used to hang around with the same guys i do now on the blade and boy did i have 2 work it lol lol 2 bmws1000r, gsxr 1000, fz1 I did have a gsxr750 LO for a short time and my mates tell me i was quick on it and the same mates now say i aint so quick on the blade????????????
thats why I had changed from my last blade to the 848, cornered really well and could see off bigger bikes unless it was motorways. enjoy your new ride
Glad your happy with your new choice pics when you get it would be nice hope your staying around on the forum
I sat on one.... well should i say nearly sat on one, they are just too focused for me, i think i will stick with my 954.
Better money than the one at Moto Forza. Mrs V reminded me I still have a tax bill to pay, need/want a new kitchen and to save to fund 9 days at the TT, a 5 day trip to Monaco and a 2 week family holiday next year. She's always crushing my dreams with trivial realities.
they are a great bike , very track focused chassis and suspension , great feed back and huge amounts of grip from mid corner the V4 engine is lovely , i only have the factory i wish it was the APRC but it still and awesome bike and they look awesome
