I have to go to a meeting tonight at a golf club once owned by Nigel Mansell. The meeting is being held in, what was, his racing museum.

Mansell memorabilia and golf. Can somebody tell me the most efficient but legal stimulant I can take before hand to ward of a coma?

    Concerned of Deb'n...

Having tried many a stimulant over the years due to shift work and various other hobbies, I can say with absolute certainty that caffeine is the only effective legal stim that won't leave you crashed and burned out once the effects have worn off.

Mansell/golf combo. That is a tough gig.

Have you considered the South London Swerve? i.e. Burn the venue down beforehand having removed any trainers.

Before I wrecked my back I was a single figure golfer and a boyhood fan of mr Mansell

Your visit tonight would once have been my Utopia.

I have his autobiography if you want to borrow it ken?

Thanks Carl, but I'll pass. I've met the great man on several occasions up there in the past at various charidee events and he comes over as an okay guy, but I was fighting the urge to drop off every time we shook hands.

I've decided to take the bike, only a short hop in the country but it will serve to piss off my boss when I turn up in leathers and the incentive of nipping off home across Woodbury common in the dark is quite a pleasant one.

Well I could have walked on the flies on Woodbury common. My visor was useless by the time I got home. I could see the lads going home on the M5 from Paignton as I ran back down into the city.
