I'm after a decent full glove, leather sub £100
Been looking at the held evo thrux and the sensato
Thinking if I get a set of something like that I can slap in a revit grizzly inner glove for the colder days seeing as we get plenty of them.
Anyone got any other recommendations to look at, the cheaper the better (for the wallet)

The sp8 look quite good aswell

I find that gloves are one of those things where there's no substitute for trying them on. Everyone's hands are different shapes and what works for one may feel like hand torture to another.

I shelled out a fortune for some Held Phantom a few years ago and just couldn't get away with them despite them being supposedly the best glove on the planet. If they fit my fingers they didn't fit the palm and vice versa.

I ended up with some REV'IT ones that have been excellent.

Have you used the grizzly inner gloves before, just googled them and they look quite beefy ? I tried the normal inner thermal type before and just found them too thick and obtrusive, can't move my fingers enough.

Last weeks MCN had gloves in it. For £100 you can get some waterproof Richa gloves that looked quite interesting.
I've tried several inner gloves over the years from silks to thermals and never got on with any off them. If you buy gloves that fit there's no room for inners. If you buy with the intention off using inners then they're too sloppy for everyday use.
IMHO you need at least two pairs of gloves if you ride in anything other than dry warm weather.

Agree with @MPJ re inner gloves. I've got Cold Killers inners & they just end up feeling too bulky. I've got an old pair of almost silky like merino type wool inners that are much better...think I got them from an outdoors shop.
Someone was selling a brand new pair of Alpinestars gp pro gloves in large on here for a good price I think they were large

I can recommend alpinestars sp1 you can pick them up for under £100 but I find with all alpinestars gloves you need to go up a size

I bought some alpine star road sport for £69. Cracking glove for the money. I bought these as they were best fit rather than price. As some one said try before you buy.

Yeh I think I need to go and try a load on really. My hands fit a large across the palm perfect but my fingers are long and after a while they dig into the tips
I don't mind wearing a set of them one size fits all magic glove things underneath and quite like the added crampness of them so assumed it would be similar.
Will have to go check, doing my head in not having a pair of perfect fitting gloves

Have you looked at RST kit? Excellent quality and sensibly priced.

Gloves are like bra's according to my Mrs , need to fit properly.
I wear a large but always have flappy finger ends which is a pain. My new ones actually fit properly.

I love the Rukka gloves I have and they were sub £100.

I've some Cold Killer under gloves too, which I find to be OK both in comfort and effectiveness, but certainly not a proper cold day, long ride combination.

I got a couple of pairs of the silk (ish) under gloves from Tog 24 a couple of years back. Nice and thin, work well, and you can leave them on when you take your bike gloves off and do stuff like fuel up or have a fag and keep a little warmth in your hands. Think they were about £10 per pair. Well worth it.

I have some SP8's for sale. They've only been used a handful of times (no pun intended!) and are good as new if you're interested in these. Size XL, they're a bit tight around my wrists.
