Hi All, Well not been having too much luck myself with Honda dealers lately both Belle Vue and Johns of Romford are off my list now for different reasons that I won't go into. Was thinking of trying the Honda dealer in Chelmsford as the wife needs her first service on her CBR 125R and we were told when she collected the bike that if it didn't go to a main dealer for the first service it would invalidate the warranty not sure how much truth there is in that? Has anybody used the Chelmsford lot before? I know of a specialist at Essex Performance very local to me who I will be using for my servicing from now on but just wondered if anybody has used this main branch of Honda and were they any good? not true mate. ring honda uk. any vat reg dealer will do but preferably a franchise. local kwak dealer did my blade
I've used the Chelmsford place before they were quite friendly from memory. Read up about the Block Exemption Regulations for the rubbish about everything having to be done through dealerships!

Id be interested to know what you think of them, They are my closest dealer too. But when I went there for a scouting mission, they didn't even say a word to me as I was browsing, worried me a little so need got me repsol serviced there! Id Love to know if the thing regarding first service is true? I looked at the list of checks for my new blade and they are all doable by myself so was going to do mine myself. I trust me, and know what a fussy git I am so ill do it properly!! lol But! don't want to screw my warranty??
I believe the first service may actually be classed as an inspection and so is required to be done by Honda as part of your warranty. Am sure Me B would be able to confirm or deny this.

The first service shouldn't cost more than £100 at a honda dealer.
