    Any particular reason why? You don’t have to have a blade to be a member to be honest, many of the other guys here have other bikes now, if you feel you still want to delete speak to @martinowen or @kpone as they have rights to remove accounts

    Is this request to delete an account impacted by the new EU General Data Protection (GDPR) Regulation that will apply from 25 May 2018 ?

    Sorry to throw that one in, but I would think this forum will have to get some kind of handle on the broader implications of GDPR in relation to personal data (which I believe can include IP addresses).

    Anyway, just a heads up about GDPR, just in case - it has come up at work so I have heard about it from there.

    edit: I think there is "a right to be forgotten" element to GDPR that might cover such a request to delete an account, but I am no expert !

    I think every right thinking person knows that if you stop the internet being the goto place for questionable porn it'll basically fall apart.
