Thinking of getting a gipro gear indicator and would like to know which is my diagnostic plug. I have a red and a white connector under the seat which one does it go into. 2009 model. Thanks frow wurz.
I have just fitted a GIPro gear indicator this morning to my 2009 HRC Blade. It took me longer to get the cap off the red diagnostic port than it did to fit the rest of the stuff. I removed the tank cover so I could keep the wiring hidden. I cable tied the wire from the gear indicator onto the wiring harness that runs to the top of the tank and then taped it along the bottom edge of the tank and into the battery tray. Once the tank cover and infill pieces are fitted, the wiring can't be seen. Piece of piss to set up. I put my bike onto the rear paddock stand and went through the gears as per the instructions. Just need some better weather now so I can get out and try it.
