    Hello,

I have been in the man cave fitting some Diamond rearsets I got from a member on here a while back. I'm nearly there but I think there are some bolts missing and I'm stuck on one part.

Can anyone who has them advise where the large black spacer goes on the gear selector side? And how it actually fits together? Is has threads in it and I thought it needed to go into a side side hole once the bolt is removed but I can't work it out.

Shift lever and rod is straightforward, it is just the black thing I'm stuck on. I also have no idea where the remaining bolts go as the other side is done :)

    Cheers

That goes down to the bottom engine bolt I think it is anyway.

I have the same rearsets on my track bike. If no one gets back to you before tomorrow I'll go round and take some pics for you. ;)

Basically once you bolt that black spacer onto the frame, you then bolt thru the bearing on the shifter piece to that black spacer

So I need to take the bottom engine bolt out mate? There is not a longer one to replace it in the bolts I have left?

I think the bolt comes from the other side of the frame, so once you remove the nut from the outside of the frame you can then screw the black piece onto it. You then bolt the shifter piece onto that using the M8 bolt you have there.

It may actually be the bolt for the side stand and not the engine mate.

Without having the bike in front of me it's hard to think back.

Just been and had a look at it again. You are right it does look like it fits onto the bottom engine mount.

So I assume I unscrew the nut facing me and then screw the adapter on? I'm just wondering how you can tighten it up as there is no way of getting a spanner on it as it's completely round.

You could just use the M8 screw to then tighten the spacer to the frame (use a nut or the likes on the bolt if it is too long).
