Lookin at getting a digital gear indicator for my RR8.
Any recommendations, regarding fitting, quality, does the fairing need to come off, etc??

    +1 on the GI Pro.
    Top kit and easy install.
    No fairing removal.

Had Both GI pro and acumen DG8 in the past and for me the GI pro is the better of the two. Easy to fit and fast update on gear change. Dont quote me on this but the GI pro is plug fit and i think Acumen needs to be wired in on the 08+ 1000rr

Acumen don't do a harness for the 08+ blade so would need to cut n splice into the harness :( the GI pro is easy to fit better looking and easy to set up even though it's a bit more it would get my vote :)

Well if you dont fancy a awkward soldering job on the blades from 08+ accumen never seem to have the pre wired interface thats why i went for a GI pro.......just a straight plug in installed and set up in 30 mins max !

ahhh well in that case arthur hun....... maybe i should have one after all, if dave has another brain wave and thinks about changing his bike (if he does it will be a short sharp size 5 up the backside) it would only need putting in mine rather than his then mine!! saves on manhours labour which could be used for riding lol
