I know people have their preferences with pads. What do you use for discs? Is there any that out perform others?

    Cheers

I can defo recommend Braking discs with SBS Duel Carbon pads mate. Found Talon to be very helpful with both discount and tech info on discs.
Used this combo on the 600rr for 4 years now and recently tested some on the blade with good results

Not used the iron ones. It does depend what bike mate I reckon and what u can get the best out of for the price u spend. Tell me if I'm talking poo. But blade discs are more than enough for someone like me. With standard pads. 1:38'cadwel kind of pace. Brembos would be as nice as would braking but for the money I don't see me gettin a huge benifit.
For an r6 I'm not sure what there standard discs are like but my mate who races uses galfer which he is happy with. But not much cheaper than brembo. For £420 ish u can get hpk fully floating brembo or brakin if someone is offering discount.
I'd say if was me get the discs u can afford and go with a decent pad that ur happy and confident with. Eg performance friction.
For a blade I think I prefer standard over sbs. I know u asked about discs but pads are all part of it I'd say lol

Aren't the iron ones heavy ?
