How about this, after reading James Whitham’s autobiography I picked up that he used to have his WSS Yamaha wired so the horn button would act as a kill switch when it was pressed. Which meant that he could do clutchless, full throttle upchanges, simply by loading the gearlever and striking the horn button. It may take a little wiring modification and dicking about with the internals to the horn button, but who knows. Sounds like a cheap quickshifter with infinitely adjustable Kill Time (via your thumb) to me. Or am I completely off the mark.
