    I bought a 2004 fireblade.

The coolant needed to be changed as it seemed like there was a sludge built up i flushed the system and changed it.

I decided i wanted to change the oil today but change/clean the airfilters while i'm at it also.

Upon inspection i cannot see any dust particles on both filters
    See pictures below
Is this filter still clean enough to use or should i wash them anyway ?

They look pretty clean, but you'd be hard pushed to see fine particle build up in there. If you don't know when they were last cleaned and you've already got them out you might as well do it - then you know it's been done

    Ok thanks.

Can i use dishwash soap and mineral turpintine to clean ?

I am hesitant to squeeze the filter especially because it surrounded by the fine metal wire material which looks fragile.

And what oil can i put on the filter if i cannot find filter oil

Easier to use the proper stuff to clean and re oil. K&N kits are readily available. Using the wrong stuff may make the filter less effective and harder to maintain
